So, when his father called him back to start building the factory, Mukesh didn't hesitate to return to help his father run the family business.

We know Mukesh Ambani as one of the richest men in Asia. He is currently ranking at the fifth spot ahead of Warren Buffet in the World's Richest Man's list. But despite being born in one of the influential business families in India, the rise of Mukesh Ambani wasn't easy. He inherited the family business from his father, but it is his charismatic leadership that turned Reliance into what it is today. Mukesh's business style and strategy have helped him cut a significant mark and secured his place among India's top business families. He has the leadership skills, visions, management abilities, and revolutionary attitude that helped him turn Reliance into a business empire.
Mukesh was born to Dhirubhai and Kokilaben Ambani April 19, 1957, in Yemen. He was the eldest of the four children of the couple. His brother Anil Ambani is another corporate bigwig and manages his own business. Mukesh studied Chemical Engineering from Institute of Chemical Technology in Mumbai and enrolled for an MBA with the Stanford University. But he couldn't complete his study at Stanford.
Mukesh got involved in the family business at an early age. He not only helped his father in setting up the polyester plant but also played a pivotal role in establishing Reliance as a diversified business conglomerate. He founded the world's largest grassroots refinery in Jamnagar, which currently produces 660,000 barrels per day.
He followed his father's footstep and ideology of "dare to dream and learn to excel". When he took the helm of the Reliance Group, he turned it into a global entity. Mukesh ranks in the list of most influential business leader and rightly hailed as 'wealth creator'. He maintained his spot as India's richest man for 13 years in a row. Under his able guidance, Reliance Jio became the largest telecom company within a short span of four years. Recently he led his company, RIL to become net-debt free.
Mukesh Ambani is the face of a modern Indian businessman. He received several recognitions in his lifetime - Dean's Medal from School Of Engineering And Applied Science by the University of Pennsylvania, United States- India Business Council Leadership Award, World Communication Award by Total Telecom, and Chitralekha Award by the government of Gujarat are to name a few.
Mukesh Ambani rose to the sky of Indian corporate like a shooting start. His remarkable business sense, charismatic leadership, unwavering determination, and faith in Indian philosophy, separate his from his contemporaries. The life of the 62 years old business tycoon will remain an inspiration to every young entrepreneur who wants to aspire to carve a name for themselves in the competitive business world.
