1. USD-INR

The USD-INR pair is the most frequently traded currency pair in India. In this pair, the base currency is the U.S. Dollar and the quote currency is the Indian Rupee. The minimum lot size of a USD-INR contract is $1,000. The contract is listed and available for trade on the BSE as well as the NSE.  

2. GBP-INR

The GBP-INR pair is the second most frequently traded currency pair in India. In this pair, the base currency is the Pound Sterling and the quote currency is the Indian Rupee. The minimum lot size of a GBP-INR contract is £1,000. The contract is listed and available for trade on the BSE as well as the NSE.  

3. EUR-INR

In the EUR-INR pair, the base currency is the Euro and the quote currency is the Indian Rupee. The minimum lot size of a EUR-INR contract is €1,000. The contract is listed and available for trade on the BSE as well as the NSE.  

4. JPY-INR

In the JPY-INR pair, the base currency is the Japanese Yen and the quote currency is the Indian Rupee. The minimum lot size of a JPY-INR contract is ¥1,00,000. The contract is listed and available for trade on the BSE as well as the NSE.  

5. GBP-USD

In the GBP-USD cross currency pair, the base currency is the Pound Sterling and the quote currency is the U.S. Dollar . The minimum lot size of a GBP-USD contract is £1,000. The contract is listed and available for trade on the BSE as well as the NSE.  

6. EUR-USD

In the EUR-USD cross currency pair, the base currency is the Euro and the quote currency is the U.S. Dollar. The minimum lot size of a EUR-USD contract is €1,000. The contract is listed and available for trade on the BSE as well as the NSE.  

7. USD-JPY

In the USD-JPY cross currency pair, the base currency is the U.S. Dollar and the quote currency is the Japanese Yen. The minimum lot size of a USD-JPY contract is $1,000. The contract is listed and available for trade on the BSE as well as the NSE.  

8. Gold

In the Indian market, gold is the most frequently traded commodity. To make it easier to buy and sell the yellow metal, gold is subdivided into the following four different contracts. 

  • Gold, with a lot size of 1 kilogram. 
  • Gold mini, with a lot size of 100 grams.  
  • Gold guinea, with a lot size of 8 grams. 
  • Gold petal, with a lot size of 1 gram. 

All the four contracts are listed and available for trade on the MCX, whereas only gold and gold mini contracts are available for trade on the BSE and the NSE.  

9. Silver

Similar to gold, silver also has a choice of three different contracts to trade from. 

  • Silver, with a lot size of 30 kilograms. 
  • Silver mini, with a lot size of 5 kilograms.  
  • Silver micro, with a lot size of 1 kilogram. 

All the three contracts are listed and available for trade on the MCX, whereas only silver is available for trade in the NSE. However, both silver and silver mini contracts are listed on the BSE. 

10. Aluminium

The derivative contract of aluminium is available for trade on the MCX and the BSE with a lot size of 5 MT (Metric Tons), which is 5,000 kilograms.

11. Copper 

The derivative contract of copper is available for trade on the MCX and the BSE with a lot size of 2.5 MT and 1 MT respectively. 

12. Lead

The derivative contract of lead is available for trade only on the MCX with a lot size of 5 MT.

13. Nickel 

The derivative contract of nickel is available for trade only on the MCX with a lot size of 1,500 kilograms.

14. Zinc

The derivative contract of zinc is available for trade on the MCX and the BSE with a lot size of 5 MT.

15. Crude oil

The derivative contract of crude oil is available for trade on the MCX, BSE, and NSE with a lot size of 100 barrels.

16. Natural gas

The derivative contract of natural gas is available for trade only on the MCX with a lot size of 1250 mmBTU (million British Thermal Units).

17. Black pepper

The derivative contract of black pepper is available for trade on the MCX, NCDEX, and ICEX with a lot size of 1 MT.

18. Cardamom

The derivative contract of cardamom is available for trade on the MCX and the ICEX with a lot size of 100 kilograms.

19. Castor seed

The derivative contract of castor seed is available for trade on the MCX, NCDEX, and ICEX. The lot size of the contract is 10 MT on both the MCX, and ICEX, whereas the lot size of the contract is only 5 MT on the NCDEX.

20. Cotton seed oil cake

The derivative contract of cotton seed oil cake is available for trade only on the NCDEX with a lot size of 10 MT.

21. Crude palm oil

The derivative contract of crude palm oil is available for trade on the MCX and the NCDEX with a lot size of 10 MT. 

22. Mentha oil

The derivative contract of mentha oil is available for trade on the MCX with a lot size of 1080 kilograms. 

23. RBD palmolein

The derivative contract of RBD palmolein is available for trade on the MCX with a lot size of 10 MT.

 

24. Cotton

The derivative contract of cotton is available for trade on the MCX, the BSE, and the NCDEX with a lot size of 25 bales (1 bale equals 170 kilograms), 25 bales, and 100 bales respectively. 

25. Kapas

The derivative contract of kapas is available for trade on the MCX and the NCDEX with a lot size of 4 MT. 

26. Raw jute 

The derivative contract of raw jute is available for trade on the ICEX with a lot size of 10 MT. 

27. Bajra

The derivative contract of bajra is available for trade only on the NCDEX with a lot size of 10 MT.

28. Barley

The derivative contract of barley is available for trade only on the NCDEX with a lot size of 10 MT.

29. Chana

The derivative contract of chana is available for trade only on the NCDEX with a lot size of 10 MT.

30. Maize (feed/industrial grade)

The derivative contract of maize (feed/industrial grade) is available for trade only on the NCDEX with a lot size of 10 MT.

31. Wheat

The derivative contract of wheat is available for trade only on the NCDEX with a lot size of 10 MT.

32. Moong

The derivative contract of moong is available for trade only on the NCDEX with a lot size of 5 MT.

33. Paddy (basmati)

The derivative contract of paddy (basmati) is available for trade on the NCDEX and the ICEX with a lot size of 10 MT.

34. Guar seed 

The derivative contract of guar seed is available for trade on the NCDEX, the ICEX, and the BSE, with a lot size of 5 MT, 1 MT, and 10MT respectively.

35. Guar gum refined splits

The derivative contract of guar seed is available for trade on the NCDEX and the BSE with a lot size of 5 MT each.

36. Soybean

The derivative contract of soybean is available for trade only on the NCDEX with a lot size of 5 MT.

37. Refined soy oil

The derivative contract of refined soy oil is available for trade on the NCDEX and the ICEX with a lot size of 5 MT and 10 MT respectively.

38. Mustard seed 

The derivative contract of mustard seed is available for trade on the NCDEX and the ICEX with a lot size of 10 MT.

39. Sugar

The derivative contract of sugar is available for trade only on the NCDEX with a lot size of 10 MT.

40. Turmeric 

The derivative contract of turmeric is available for trade on the NCDEX and the BSE with a lot size of 5 MT and 10 MT respectively.

41. Jeera

The derivative contract of jeera is available for trade only on the NCDEX with a lot size of 3 MT.

42. Coriander

The derivative contract of coriander is available for trade only on the NCDEX with a lot size of 5 MT.

43. Rubber

The derivative contract of rubber is available for trade on the ICEX with a lot size of 1 MT.

44. Steel 

With respect to steel, there are two different contracts available for trade.

  • The derivative contract of steel long is available for trade on the ICEX with a lot size of 10 MT.
  • The derivative contract of steel billets is available for trade on the BSE with a lot size of 10 MT.

45. Diamond (1 carat, 0.3 carat, 0.5 carat)

With respect to diamond, there are three different contracts available for trade.

  • The derivative contract of diamond (1 carat) is available for trade on the ICEX with a lot size of 1 cent, which is 2 milligrams.
  • The derivative contract of diamond (0.5 carat) is available for trade on the ICEX with a lot size of 1 cent, which is 2 milligrams.
  • The derivative contract of diamond (0.3 carat) is available for trade on the ICEX with a lot size of 1 cent, which is 2 milligrams.

46. Isabgul Seed

The derivative contract of isabgul seed is available for trade on the ICEX with a lot size of 1 MT.

47. Almond

The derivative contract of almond is available for trade on the BSE with a lot size of 1 MT.
